Sega Lindbergh is an arcade system developed by Sega in embedded PC format, similar to Taito's Type X and Type X² systems. It runs the MontaVista Linux operating system. Sega initially planned to use the Xbox 360 as the basis, similar to the Sega Chihiro's use of the original Xbox, but later decided on the PC format.

Lindbergh hardware is categorized by the color of the PC case's lid. The different colors denote different hardware specifications. The standard hardware is known as Lindbergh Yellow, along with the Lindbergh Red and Lindbergh Blue.

Setup
Any PC PSU over 400w can be used, with the standard 24 pin ATX connector plugging into the motherboard (CN1). Similarly, any USB DVD drive can be used.
Controllers
A custom MontaVista Linux driver has been created for the Xbox 360 controller. Source: c0de187

The Kernel
According to c0de187 the Lindbergh runs its own kernel for each game. It is possible to modify the 2.6 kernel to run also all 2.4 kernel games.

It is also possible to apply a HD patch for games that have a resolution of 800x480.
