Released in 1988, the Taito MT-8 cabinet which is (reminiscent of the hooded SNK "SC" cabinet series in terms of general aspect), is said in promo leaflets to be available in an undisclosed number of color variants, easy maintenance and fitted with a "popular 25 inch size monitor" (both in english and japanese promo material) which has been proven to be an erroneous statement since the stock monitor is a 28" model. The lateral backlight neons are custom models with curved tubes to fit their matching plastic diffusers.
