Sigma AV5000
Wiring JAMMA
Controller External

General Info

Uses the "deep" DB-15 female connectors which were common/standard in the Japanese market. "Standard" metal DB-15 cables will not fit because they are too shallow; you can purchase replacement Neo Geo controller cables and then customize to your needs by adding the appropriate connector.

Mega Drive 1/Neo Geo composite A/V cables work without modification. S-Video and RGB pinouts are different, and are not compatible; check the linked pinout page below to confirm your cable is suitable for use with this device.

Replacement Parts

  • 44-pin female receptacle: Hirose CR7E-44DB-3.96DS (discontinued 11/2025)
