The SNK Super Neo 29 Candy monitor cabinet is basically a Super Neo 29 (without the optional LCD sub-monitor) that has been updated to be also JAMMA compatible, but downgraded as the "Candy" version is now compatible with 1-slot MVS systems instead of the 4-slot type found in the Super Neo 29 N4. The maintenance manual confirms this p.13 : Warning! NEO GEO 2-slot and 4-slot PCBs cannot be used
Cabinet variants:
- Super Neo 29 Candy Standard (CS) : standard header meant for displaying either the stock generic cabinet art or the specific art of a JAMMA game. Custom illuminated art panels could be ordered from SNK directly according to promo material.
