Capcom demoed the CAV System 60 giant cabinet using a 60" Liquid Crystal Vision projector monitor at AM Show # 28, 3 & 4th of October 1990.

It featured an isolation/ shader hood whose structure included a large tinted plexiglas panel. The hood joined the monitor module from the top and the 2 player bench's rear support.

Capcom's supposedly proprietary projector could have the image rotated to Tate. The projected image was claimed to be "much crisper" than a CRT, but as we all know today this was a vastly exagerated and not very sincere sales argument (early 50" & 60" 90s projectors tended to be quite blurry, even fresh out of the factory and got worse relatively quickly). On the other hand, a comparison was also drawn in published promo material between a 60" image projected on the CAV60 vs a 20" one on a traditional arcade CRT, focusing on the viewing comfort.

The control panel featured a game select button (located between P1 and P2 start buttons) to choose between a maximum of 3 games, for which according to Capcom, previews could be viewed for each individual game in the "top monitor optional module", an extravagant triple CRT monitor compartment located right above the 60" projector module's roof. No specs were given for the 3 monitors in question.

The complete flyer below in Gallery section below shows the CAV60 with and without said module, also the shader/isolation hood's position combined with the odd and peculiar design choice from Capcom to place the triple crt monitor module so far above would have probably made the viewing of said previews possible only if standing outside the cabinet, before playing. It was most probably meant to attract other potential players around while the customers already seated inside could enjoy their game in partial isolation from the crowd thanks to the hood.
