Marine Game Ace 25 borrowed heavily from SNK cabinets in particular SNK Candy 25 & SNK Candy 26, the latter being already influenced by Sega Aero City cabinet.

Contrary to popular belief, Marine Game did not clone Casio Game cabinets, Casio's arcade/amusement branch simply changed their commercial name, an issue often addressed directly in japanese promo material to avoid confusion (see flyer below in Gallery) : 株式会社マリンゲーム(I旧・株式会社カシオゲーム) Marine Games Co., Ltd.(formerly Casio Games Co., Ltd.).

Japanese ads for the 25inch Ace stated several optional control panels were readily available such as a Street Fighter themed one and a home game console styled model (all panels Sega Aero City format)
