The Casio Game Rider 18 cabinet (カシオゲーム ライダー18) was also known as Marine Game Rider 18 (マリンゲームライダー18) since Marine Game = former Casio Game company. It was sometimes just advertised as Marine Game's "Rider 18" or even Casio Game "New Type Rider" but the stock original 1 player panel displays "Game Rider 18" on the lower right corner. Rider 18 was compatible with SEGA Aero City control panel format. Casio Game branded models featured the typical Casio logo on the chassis and the panel, while Marine Game models appeared as generic, without said logo (see Casio era original stock model pic below in Gallery). The Casio Game "New Type Rider" flyer stipulates the control panel enclosure is made of a hard stainless steel (remaining bare) to minimize scratch marks and features a novel type of optional dual function drinking cup & ashtray holder on the left side.

Flyers and catalogs do not mention that a hefty steel footrest could be eventually removed or added, some versions had it stock.

A "Stand-type" (スタンドタイプ SUTANDOTAIPU see advert below in Gallery) version raised, via a set of caster wheels, the original 1050mm heigt by an extra meager 135mm for a total of 1185mm which really does not make it a true Standup type (it is even 115mm smaller than a 1300mm high Capcom Mini Cute...), but given the company lived in an era filled to the brim with Dagashiya type so-called "mini uprights" by many of its competitors, maybe this is how the company justified the "Stand-type" naming.

Toyo Bussan (now Techno Associe co., Ltd) produced a generic cabinet, Emperor 18, slightly less refined, more angular in its aspect but strikingly similar to Casio's Rider 18.

Casio released also a Rider Table cocktail cab, but in a rather different design style compared to the Game Rider 18 sitdown.
