More than 35 titles have been announced, and the industry-leading exA-Arcadia dedicated software as a provider of amusement content is already developing more than 50 titles.

The system has been reported as being extremely stable and power efficient by arcade operators.

Update September 2024.

The majority of users have sent motherboards for a free firmware/service update and replacement of the internal battery. Further to this Exa Motherboards shipped from early 2024 have the cmos battery accessible on the outside (front) of the case for easy user service, existing motherboards can also be upgraded with this modification if required.

Known issues. ( November 2023 )

There is a reported issue with the system battery on some motherboards revisions which can be fixed free of charge by returning the motherboard for service.

The following is draft based on feedback from users and not confirmed by manufacturer.

Issue 1.

Occurrence: Common. Estimated more than 10 cases reported by forum members. (assumed only motherboards manufactured between 2019-2021?)

Symptom: Time/Date shows wrong value. You can set the correct date in the service menu, but it may be forgotten after power off.

Symptom: Some users also reported the system takes an additional 50 seconds to boot up.

Reason: Faulty CMOS battery runs out of charge after 2-3 years.

Outcome: You can continue to operate the system okay but with wrong date shown.

Fix: Send to EXA for service.

Issue 2.

Occurrence: Rare. 2 cases reported by forum members

Symptom: 'startup looping'.

Reason: Unknown, assume only occurs after Issue 1 (eg with dead CMOS battery)

Symptom: Stage 1: System does not boot, restarts and runs disk check. It may boot with the cartridges removed.

Symptom: Stage 2: Once battery is charged after the bootloop, it goes straight to blue screen with enter password.

Outcome: You may not continue to operate the system

Fix: Send to EXA for service.

Issue 3.

Occurrence: Extremely rare or unique (one instance). 1 case eeported by forum member

Symptom: stops booting and shows 'windows "getting devices ready" page.

Reason: Unknown

Outcome: You may not continue to operate the system

Fix: Send to EXA for service.
