JALECO stated the Table Pony was an "evolution based on the Pony Mark II cabinet style". It was available in silver/grey, red and green but this first mkII inspired table was seemingly only available with its 18 inch monitor mounted in Tate (vertical) and appeared as such in all promotional material.
Table Pony (mkII styled) promotional material claimed the new cocktail cabinet series introduced several features which remained with Jaleco's later Table Pony 25 and Table Pony 25 VH, namely :
- a more ergonomic & "futuristic" format
- an audio 3.5mm stereo jack to plug in earphones
- 2 x 25W speakers housed in the two ridged black legs supporting the table
- 2 dampeners mounted under the top plate to avoid having it shut close abruptly & the technician getting his fingers injured, said top plate needs to be pressed hard to be closed
- a "one touch" spring-loaded mechanism to replace easily the control panel, which Jaleco claimed to be exclusive to their brand
