Launched on the market between June and July 1996 at the same time as the Windy cabinet, Konami's Domy Theater 50 was described as to have been designed with a futuristic wing / foil in mind. Its 50" projector would be produced in-house by Konami, just like Windy's own CRT monitor, which was according to Konami a first in the industry. The service door would be of the sliding type, opened from the front, mounted on rails.
