The Namco Lava "type" sported a 20" monitor , which was wider than that of the Tehkan Lava and New Lava (both 18"), cab itself being slightly deeper as well. It is unsure if this cabinet is a clone or not and if there was an agreement between Namco and Tehkan(Tecmo), but the latter company released an official cease and desist message in Game Machine Magazine warning about Lava cabinets being modded and or cloned -without any authorization- by other big names in the arcade industry.
