SEGA's Super Megalo 2 was the successor (& slight upgrade) to the Super Megalo aka Super Megalo 1 , it was released along with SEGA's Model 2 arcade system in 1994. Visually both models are identical albeit the cabinet model's logo, when present. Cabinets based on Super Megalo 2 are often designated by SEGA as "DX 50" version in catalogs, for Model 2 games such as Virtua Fighter 2,Virtua Striker(Japanese version), Virtua Cop.
