Released in 1988, the Taito MT-8 cabinet (reminiscent of the hooded SNK "SC" cabinet series in terms of general aspect), was said in promo material to be a compact cabinet sporting a hi-resolution "25 inch size monitor" which has been proven to be an erroneous statement since the stock monitor is a 28" model (speclist on the bottom has the correct size in the leaflet). The lateral backlight neons are custom models with curved tubes to fit their matching plastic diffusers.
