The 1993 Taito Teatro 50 aka Teatro 50 Dual appears to be a slight revision of the 1992 Taitrovision EX. It kept from the latter its round 2 player bench design, a control panel plastic top shell enclosure design (which is strinkingly similar, including panel graphics, to Egret 29), and a header present on top of the pojector monitor (formerly absent in Taitrovision 50 model). The structure of the 2 player stand is also similar to its direct aforementioned predecessor.

Lack of published detailed specs from Taitrovision Ex prevent from it being more technically compared to Teatro 50 (internals, projector brand and model, wiring etc), apart from outer design features.

Compared to other similar successful projector cabs of the same era, the Taito Teatro 50 features an ample back support for additional comfort on its twin bench, totally absent from the likes of the 1993 Sega Super Megalo and the latters' 1995 copycat SNK Neo 50 II.
