The Uni Enterprise Mini Table is a compact Japanese cocktail arcade cabinet advertised by Uni Enterprise Co., Ltd. (株式会社ユニエンタープライズ) by 1982.

Mini Table is a descriptive name used on this page. The surviving advertisement promotes the machines as mini-size tables, but does not clearly establish a distinct factory model name.

Overview

Uni Enterprise promoted the table cabinets as a way to install more game machines in limited floor space. The advertisement shows two compact cocktail-style cabinets and describes their size as substantially smaller than conventional table machines.

The machines were advertised for locations such as smaller amusement premises and cafés.

Design

The advertisement shows two low table cabinets with opening tops. Each has a monitor viewed through the tabletop and a control area on the side of the cabinet.

The two photographed cabinets differ in their tabletop and body details. They are presented together as part of the same mini-size table offering. The available scan does not establish whether these differences represent separate factory model names, alternative sizes, or equipment configurations.

A specification table is printed beneath the photographs, but some entries in the available image are too small to transcribe with confidence. Those values should be checked against a clearer scan before being added to the infobox.

Games and controls

The advertisement presents these as table-format video-game machines rather than identifying them with one particular game.

The photographed controls and internal wiring cannot be identified reliably from the current scan. In particular, a JAMMA connection should not be assumed for a cabinet advertised in this period.

Identification

Features visible in the period advertisement include:

  • compact cocktail-cabinet construction
  • opening tabletop
  • monitor viewed through the tabletop
  • side-mounted control area
  • Uni Enterprise advertising and UEP branding

No cabinet identification plate, manual or surviving example has yet been matched conclusively to the advertised machines.

Dating

The mini-size tables appear in Uni Enterprise advertising published by January 1982. This establishes that they were being marketed by that date; their exact introduction date has not been confirmed.
