Advertised freshly in 1989 as part of the New Version Body line of cabinets along with the Candy 26 table, both directly inspired by SEGA's 1988 Aero City & Aero Table, SNK promoted the Candy 26 as a solid basis for conversion to a medal type cabinet (see below flyer in Gallery).
