SNK released the Table 18 aka T6001 cocktail cabinet circa October 1986 simultaneously with the sitdown/upright Candy 18 (T6001). While SNK's Candy 18 drew inspiration directly from SEGA's City 1986 cabinet, SNK's Table 18 cocktail ended up being strikingly similar in design to SEGA's 1983 T-13 and Tehkan's (Tecmo) 1983 Color Table.

Official specs excluded control panel dimensions and concern thus the bare table. The glass panel tabletop dimensions are 860x560mm and the table featured stock an Asahi Seiko 720-A coin mech.

Both cabs were initially released either with the 1986 game Ikari Warriors II: Victory Road (怒号層圏 Dogō Sōken) aka Dogosoken or soon after with the 1987 game Bermuda Triangle (バーミューダ・トライアング) aka World Wars, along with their respective 2p control panels & rotary Seimitsu LS-30 joysticks.

Later in October 1987, promo material would advertise the Candy 18 & Table 18 cabinets with Touchdown Fever panels & dedicated Seimitsu special variant rotary sticks with the infamous football shaped handles (see below in Gallery).
