Successor to the Megalo 50, the Super Megalo 1 was released alongside the Model 1 (aka CG Board) arcade system by SEGA, the first game to feature on said cabinet was Virtua Fighter. Super Megalo 1 is not easy to differentiate visually from Super Megalo 2 apart from the model's logo when present, but generally cabinets based on Super Megalo 1 were designated by SEGA in catalogs as being a "DX 50" cab for a Model 1 game. It is part of the Sega Amusement CG World Machine range of cabinets. SEGA Star Wars (1993) cabinet was based on a Super Megalo 1 in grey color with custom control panels & seats.
