Introduced in 1993 at AOU '93 in Japan, made by Daisho Shokai for SNK, the first Neo 50 model branded solely SNK. It is a variant of Daisho Shokai's New Tenga 50 cabinet with minor cosmetic changes. SNK claimed easy maintenance & assembly, Hi-Fi quality speakers along with an ideal fromat for location testing of new arcade games as the cabinet supposedly mimicked cinematic realism with its 50" projector monitor which according to SNK's flyers was "hard to believe it is a projector such the definition is high". The official promo material and cabinet graphics feature the following branding: "NEO 50 Neo-Fifty Multi Video System Neo-Geo MVS Neo-Geo MVS Projecter". Projecter is misspelled.
