As opposed to Namco's first Exceleena model, the Exceleena 2 has an all-in-one face plate/monitor bezel. The overall cabinet format has been also slimmed down back to a classic and standard design for ease of installation & transportation, Exceleena 1 being overly large.

Notes

For TATE (vertical) mode, the bezel needs to be rotated and fitted back on the main chassis after the monitor has been itself pulled out circa 250mm by "2 persons" (as per Namco's recommendations, due to the weight and risk of breaking the PCB) then rotated clockwise 90° and reinstalled with 4x M8 20mm long bolts, making sure that if ever one needs to revert back to YOKO format (90° anti-clockwise from TATE position) the monitor PCB will need to end up facing down. It is necessary prior to face plate removal & monitor rotation to remove the top part of the control panel box.

Just like the earlier Exceleena model, the Exceleena II featured the custom model LS-40-N Seimitsu joystick with an exclusive 8-way white round restrictor gate instead of the 8-way square version; correct original theme devised by Namco for this iteration is yellow 35mm balltop & yellow LS-40 type shaft cover, yellow 30mm PS-14-G action buttons & red 24mm PS-14-D start buttons, all Seimitsu brand.
