Information
The Egret II cab is popular because of its easy rotate mechanism and monitor with near flawless geometry, and stunning picture in 15kHz.
According to the manual, stock colours for balltops and buttons are Sanwa Violet and Dark Blue, with Sanwa JLF joysticks. This is in contrast to the cabinet flyer, which shows Seimitsu Green and Yellow balltops and buttons, along with LS-40 joysticks fitted with matching colour shaft covers.
In the same way as the Taito Egret 3 and Sammy Atomiswave SD, the Egret II can be easily fitted with a Taito Stereo Amp, albeit with a small wiring change required.
Egret II is not 100% JAMMA standard, with only 3 of the 4 +5V pins connected on the JAMMA connector. This can cause issues with certain boards such as Michael Jackson's Moonwalker.
